Ashley is the Lead Receptionist at Beattie Pet Hospital Burlington, bringing over 17 years of experience in team leadership and customer service. She joined the Beattie team in 2017, inspired by a lifelong love of animals and a background in volunteering with the Lion’s Foundation and the Humane Society during high school. After bringing her own dog to the Stoney Creek location 10 years ago, Ashley was impressed by the care provided and realized a career in veterinary medicine was her dream job.

What Ashley loves most about her role is hearing the personal stories of clients and their pets, and witnessing animals fully recover after challenging times. It’s these rewarding moments that make her work so fulfilling. Ashley has a special interest in expanding her knowledge of pet nutrition and takes a client-focused approach, prioritizing empathy, understanding, and genuine appreciation for each pet and owner’s needs. 

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking with her three dogs, playing video games, reading, having art nights with her husband, and watching horror movies. She shares her home with Diesel, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Fawkes the Pomeranian, Bones the American Bully mix, and Finn, a domestic shorthair cat
