Receptionist

Connor

Connor joined the Beattie Pet Hospital Burlington team in 2025, bringing a unique blend of compassion, curiosity, and a background in neuroscience. After graduating from McMaster University in 2024, Connor was inspired to enter the veterinary field to gain a deeper understanding of healthcare—both for animals and the people who care for them. He saw this position as an opportunity to learn what clients need most during times of illness and uncertainty, with the goal of offering meaningful support.

Connor loves nothing more than seeing a happy dog walk through the door. His day is always brightened by the pets he meets, but it’s the human-animal bond that truly motivates him. He finds it deeply rewarding to help clients navigate challenging moments and ensure their beloved companions receive the highest quality care.

With a special interest in neurological conditions, Connor applies his academic background to better understand the more complex medical cases that come through the clinic. His approach to client communication is grounded in honesty, empathy, and education—always making sure pet owners are informed of all their options so they can make the best decisions for their animals.

Outside of the clinic, Connor enjoys a wide range of hobbies including rock climbing, cooking and baking, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. While he doesn’t currently have a pet of his own, he cherishes the memories of his family dog and is grateful to be surrounded by animals every day at work.
