Dr. Jenny Jin is a dedicated Veterinarian who joined the team in June 2026, bringing with her a lifelong passion for animal care and education. Her love for animals began at a young age, where she was deeply engaged in learning about wildlife conservation and sharing its importance with others. This early interest inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, leading her to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2026. 

Dr. Jin was drawn to Beattie Pet Hospital by its supportive and experienced team, where she felt she could continue to grow while providing meaningful care to her patients. What she enjoys most about her work is building strong relationships with both animals and their owners. She values collaborating closely with clients, working as a team to support each pet’s health and wellbeing while growing together throughout every stage of life. 

With a special passion for dentistry, Dr. Jin is committed to improving not only the health but also the comfort and quality of life of her patients. Her approach to veterinary care is rooted in collaboration—she believes that both the veterinary team and pet owners share the same goal of doing what is best for the patient. By understanding each client’s unique perspective and situation, she is able to provide thoughtful, personalized care that supports both pets and their families. 

For Dr. Jin, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is seeing patients recover and watching their personalities shine as they feel better. 

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active at the gym, playing volleyball, and expressing her creativity through painting and sketching. At home, she is kept entertained by her two cats, Ron and Sophie, a playful pair of littermates who share a love for food and have perfected the art of performing for treats.
