Gary

Gary first came to us in March 2021 at the age of 2.5 months. Unfortunately, at the time, Gary was diagnosed with Parvovirus, a highly contagious and sometimes fatal disease. When he was first examined by our doctors, he was given a 50/50 chance of survival.

Gary was hospitalized with a very extensive treatment protocol, and we started to see him improving. During his treatment, his owner opted to relinquish ownership. Dr. Murota offered to take over ownership so we continue to give him a fighting chance.

Once Gary had gotten better, Dr. Murota had planned to try to find him a new home. After a few weeks, Dr. Murota had decided to keep him. Gary now spends his days learning extensive tricks, and playing with his brother Kai, a mini Australian shepherd.

Gary still comes to work with Dr. Murota and Kai on most of her shifts. He thoroughly loves the staff and showing them his new tricks.
