Khan

Khan
Khan came to us in June of 2020, when he was surrendered to a rescue who was facing capacity limits. Khan initially showed fearfulness towards males. Through patience and care, Khan was able to warm up to our male employees.
Khan remained in our care for 1 month, until we were able to secure a foster for him. Khan stayed with this foster for many months, before a family showed interest in adopting him. After some time with his potential adopters, it was deemed that this new home was not the right fit for him.
During the time Khan was with his potential new home, his foster Bethany missed him dearly. When she found out that the other home had not worked out, she immediately jumped to officially adopt him. Khan still lives with Beth and her son, who continue to support his needs. Most days, he tries to convince them that he never got breakfast, in hopes of getting a second serving. Fortunately, Beth still brings Khan to visit us and the team thoroughly enjoys seeing him.
