Madelyn joined Beattie Pet Hospital Burlington as a Veterinary Assistant in April 2026 after graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Inspired by her veterinarian mother and an early co-op placement, she developed a lifelong passion for helping animals and the people who care for them.

She enjoys building relationships with clients, continuing to learn every day, and making a positive difference in the lives of her patients. Madelyn has a special interest in Fear Free medicine and is passionate about creating calm, low-stress experiences for pets during their veterinary visits.

Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with three Golden Retrievers Brynn, Aystyn, and Londyn, and three cats, Gus, Parsnip, and Zucchini.
